The old parish church Pasching is in the village of Pasching in the municipality of Pasching in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist belongs to the Deanery of Traun in the Diocese of Linz . The church and the churchyard are under monument protection .

history

One church was officially named in 1111 as the baptistery of the Hörsching parish church . A small Gothic country church was built around 1500. With the completion of the New Parish Church, the church became a branch church and is used as a cemetery church and mortuary.

architecture

The two-aisled two-bay nave as a one-pillar room and the choir with a five-eighth end have ribbed vaults. Four stained glass windows of Saints Stephan , Lorenz , Anton Hermit and presumably pastor Johann Sigurd Gois from the beginning of the 15th century are remarkable . The portal is in the south. The tower in the west has a gable roof.

Furnishing

The decor is neo-Gothic.
