Old school (herrings)
The old school in Hünfelden - herring is under monument protection standing classical rectangular building. It was built around 1830 and represents the typical school building of a larger community according to the Nassau edict of education of 1817. In the meantime, the half-timbering was exposed, but today the building is plastered again. The former school is a community center used.
