Altenbork

Altenbork is the name of a farming community in the town of Selm in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Unna .

geography

Altenbork is located to the west of the Dortmund - Gronau railway line and borders in the northeast, east and southeast on the district of Bork , in the southeast also on the Lüner district of Alstedde , in the southwest on the Waltrop farming community Unterlippe and the Dattelner farming community Pelkum , in the west with Vinnum and im North to the Hagen farmers (both in Olfen ).

The farmers belonged to the Dreingau .

On January 1, 1975, the municipalities of Selm and Bork, which formerly belonged to the Bork office, were merged to form the new municipality of Selm as part of a territorial reform. Until then, Altenbork belonged to the municipality of Bork.

In 1987 the Altenbork farming community had a total of 858 inhabitants.
