The house with the postal address Alter Markt 11 is a listed building in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund on the Alter Markt .

The brick building, built in the 15th century , was heavily rebuilt and changed in the 16th century and again at the end of the 19th century.

The facade of the three-storey and three-axle house has over the second floor, a Fries from terracotta to show the 14 tiles portraits. They originally come from the workshop of Statius von Düren ; During the renovation at the end of the 19th century, they were replaced by replicas.

The stepped gable shows segmented arched windows and panels.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered with the number 12 in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund .
