The Alte Kurhaus in Pullach near Munich is a former Kneipp spa. The building was a listed building until 2012 (monument number: D-1-84-139-1).

history

In 1892 the spa went into operation below the municipality of Pullach, on the banks of the Isar . In 1899, the area was flooded during a flood. When construction of the Isar Canal began at the same time , the spa complex lost its exposed position. Even with freshly injected capital, the company could no longer recover and went bankrupt in 1904. The area with the buildings was bought by the Isarwerke . Isarwerke converted the building and used it as a residential building for its employees. In 2012, the facade of the listed building was badly damaged during renovation. As a result, the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation revoked the building's monument status in October 2012.
