The Altfunnixsieler Mühle is a windmill in Funnix , a district of the East Frisian district town of Wittmund in the Wittmund district in Lower Saxony .
The Erdholländer was built in 1802 and had a grinding, grist and peldegang. It was in operation until 1972. Then it stood still, although a wing was still being repaired in 1981. The grinder was probably expanded around 1990. The building is privately owned and can therefore only be viewed from the outside. After a thorough renovation, the mill is now used as a holiday home.
