Altuna Sejdiu (stage name: Tuna ; born July 14, 1985 in Skopje , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a singer from North Macedonia . Their music can be classified into the areas of pop and contemporary R&B . Today she is one of the most popular singers in the Albanian region.

Career

Altuna Sejdiu was born in Skopje in 1985 as the daughter of Shaban Sejdiu, a wrestler in Macedonia.

Tuna has been singing since she was 15 and became known to a wider audience at the Nota Fest in her native Skopje in 2002 . She won the singing competition with the song Ciao Machoman . Her first album Tuna was released the following year . In 2005, S'ka Më Diktaturë followed (There is no more dictatorship) . The single Pse Jo was released in 2010 by Entermedia Productions in Pristina , Kosovo , where Tuna mainly works and lives. In the same year she released the hit single Vibe in collaboration with the Kosovar R&B singer Dafina Zeqiri and the Kosovar rapper 2po2 . On April 4, 2010, Altuna Sejdiu married Rilind Reka, the son of Blerim Reka, a former Macedonian ambassador to the European Union . In June 2011, she announced her split from Rilind Reka.

In 2011 a ballad followed with Dyshemeja (floor) . Here, too, a video clip was shot by Entermedia , which was released in June. In the same year Tuna published the video clip for E para dhe e fundit (“The first and last”) at emf creative in Prishtina , which was filmed in Novalja . In 2012 Tuna returned to Entermedia , where the clip for I Asaj (Ihr) was released in June . This success was followed in 2013 by her song Fenix with the rapper Cozman. This song is with u. a. over 30 million clicks on YouTube, her greatest success as a singer to date.

Sejdiu was a jury member for the Albanian version of The X Factor , "X Factor Albania" from 2012 to 2014 .

In July 2013, Altuna Sejdiu announced that she was dating the rapper Cozman. The two separated in September 2015.

In 2014 her single "Babe" was released, and a few months later the single "MMV" with the rapper Ghetto Geasy . The song Holla by Tuna and Cozman was released in July 2015, and it had over two million clicks on YouTube after just a few days.
