Alwin Albrecht (* unknown; † unknown) was from 1946 to 1958 Rector of the Konstanz State Technical Center , today's Konstanz University of Technology, Economics and Design .

Life

Alwin Albrecht was Otto Tolle's successor from 1946 to 1958 as rector of the “State Technical Center”. The main tasks of his term of office were the resumption of teaching in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and again building and civil engineering. Barracks were built as makeshifts to house the students; In 1951 a social welfare organization was founded by Rosel Rödelstab and in 1954 the new building on Rheingutstraße with the first canteen was handed over to the university. During his time, the Association of Graduates and Friends, the forerunner of today's “Fördergesellschaft der Hochschule Konstanz e. V. ”and a“ school advisory board ”, today's board of trustees of the university. In 1956 he was able to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the state technical center.

In 1958 he handed over the official business to Werner Schloemann .
