history
The house was for from England coming engineer built Skinner Harry, the construction of the Vogelsberg Railway was involved. After 1928 the building served as a youth hostel for some time . The house is inspired by the style of romantic historicism .
description
The house on the slope of the Eichberg has a massive ground floor and a half-timbered upper floor clad with shingles . A cantilevered dwelling sits on the steep gable roof . On the left is the former garden house , the massive ground floor of which is provided with a corner block made of sandstone. It is marked with the year 1822.
