Lisa lives next to a zoo . So she slips down the neck of a giraffe at night before going to bed and gets into the zoo. There she talks to the zoo animals and is told a bedtime story from them . The story itself is about the animals in the zoo. When the story is over, Lisa is put to bed by the giraffe and she says goodnight to her.
Production and publication
The series was produced between 1999 and 2000 in German-French production. This resulted in 52 episodes. An Vrombaut directed and wrote the script . The series is a joint production by Millimages and Zoo Lane Productions, Canal J, ZDF, ZDF Enterprises and Buena Vista Home Ent.
The German first broadcast took place on November 23, 1999 on KIKA . Further broadcasts were later also on ZDF , Junior and Premiere Austria .
