Amadou Sanyang (born August 1, 1991 in Bakau ) is a Gambian football player .
Career
Sanyang moved in March 2009 together with his compatriot Emmanuel Gómez to the Canadian MLS club Toronto FC , before he played in the GFA League First Division for Real de Banjul . Because of his age, Sanyang was not yet eligible to play at the start of the 2009 MLS season , he made his league debut on his 18th birthday against New England Revolution .
Sanyang has been without a club since December 2010 and signed with Seattle Sounders FC in July 2011 .
International
The defensive player, who is compared to Franco Baresi in his home country , already played in the U-17 and U-20 age groups for the Gambian junior national teams .
