Amaenai de yo !! Katsu !! ( jap. あ ま え な い で よ っ !! 喝 !! , dt. "Don't be so spoiled !!", cf. Amae , katsu is a loud, abusive exclamation in Zen Buddhism ) is a 13-part anime series from 2006, which as well as the first anime series Amaenaide yo !! based on a manga by the Japanese draftsman Toshinori Sogabe ( 宗 我 部 と し の り ). The series, which can be assigned to his , Moe and Bishōjo genre, works, like its predecessor, with comedic and erotic ( Etchi ) elements.

action

In the follow-up series to Amaenai de yo !! a new female lead named Kazusano Kazuki is introduced. This is a secret envoy from another Buddhist temple who holds the opinion that liberation from worldly desires is irrelevant to spiritual enlightenment. Kazuki's task is to awaken Ikkō by all means, which is why she constantly provokes situations in which she can sexually approach Ikkō. However, this is constantly foiled, mostly by Chitose, who is plagued by jealousy. Kazuki also believes that she can wake up with Ikkō in order to be able to suppress her uncontrollable powers. In the last episode she finally succeeds in waking Ikkō through her, but is engulfed by Ikkō's power instead of awakening with him. However, Chitose manages to talk into the conscience of the awakened Ikkō, whereby his power is neutralized and Kazuki is released again.

In addition to this main plot, there is also a subplot here that usually determines the content of the episodes. Some of the main characters who embody one of the six kingdoms of the Buddhist faith are brought closer to perfecting their powers. Special emphasis is placed on the young Hinata, for whom it is extremely difficult to break away from the "forces of darkness" due to their membership of the demon realm, one of the most important steps to spiritual enlightenment and thus to full control of the powers of the six realms.
