Amanda Aardsma (born October 24, 1979 in Denver , Colorado ) is an American actress and beauty queen .

Life

Amanda Aardsma is the sister of baseball player David Aardsma .

Aardsma won the 1994 Miss Teenage California elections for Miss Colorado Teen USA . In 1998 she took part in the Miss Teen USA election.

Aardsma made her acting debut in the film Table One in 2000 . She also had guest roles in the US television series CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators and For all cases, Amy . In the horror film Hyenas (2011) she played the role of Valerie alongside Costas Mandylor .
