Ambiente (fair)

Ambiente is the largest consumer goods fair outside of Asia. The fair takes place annually in February in the exhibition halls in Frankfurt am Main . It consists of the product areas “Living” (decorative items and furnishings), “Giving” (gift items) and “Dining” (household goods and kitchen supplies).

In 2013, 4,714 exhibitors from 81 countries were represented in Frankfurt and the trade fair exhibition had around 139,360 visitors. In 2014, according to the organizer, over 4,700 exhibitors from 89 countries and around 144,000 trade visitors from 161 countries. In 2015, according to the organizer, over 4,815 exhibitors from 95 countries and around 134,620 trade visitors from 152 countries.

The organizer of Ambiente in Frankfurt is Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. Subsidiaries of Messe Frankfurt GmbH also hold similar trade fairs in Tokyo (Interior Lifestyle Tokyo and IFFT / Interior Lifestyle Living), Shanghai (Interior Lifestyle China) and New Delhi (Ambiente India).
