Ambrogio Squintani

Ambrogio Squintani (born February 22, 1885 in Pizzighettone , Cremona Province , Italy ; † August 8, 1960 ) was bishop of the Ascoli Piceno diocese .

Ambrogio Squintani was ordained a priest on August 10, 1907 . On September 21, 1936 he was appointed by Pope Pius XI. appointed bishop of Ascoli Piceno. He was ordained episcopate on November 1st of the same year by the Bishop of Cremona , Giovanni Cazzani ; Co- consecrators were Francesco Maria Franco , Bishop of Crema , and Ferdinando Rodolfi , Bishop of Vicenza .

His resignation was on December 17, 1956 by Pius XII. admit; at the same time Ambrogio Squintani was appointed titular archbishop of Amorium .
