Ambrosius Meyer (* in the 15th or 16th century; † April 27, 1571 in Lübeck ) was mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Ambrosius Meyer was the son of the Lübeck councilor Johann Meyer . He was elected to the City Council of Lübeck in 1544 and appointed mayor there in 1551 . From 1549 to 1552 he was the treasurer. In 1544 he belonged as councilor together with councilor and later mayor Bartholomeus Tinnappel of the embassy to King Christian III. from Denmark , which complained about Danish disruptions to trade in Lübeck. Also as councilor, he represented the city in 1550 in an embassy to Duke Franz I of Saxony-Lauenburg . As mayor he was again with Christian III in 1554. at the court in Odense. Between 1550 and 1566 he represented Lübeck at Hanseatic Days in Lüneburg, Bremen, and Lübeck. He lived in the house at Fleischhauerstraße 19. His daughter was married to the councilor Franz von Stiten .
