The qualified ambulance and the handicapped transport service are carried out from another location in Rostock . The company has a recognized rescue station and is involved in the disaster control of the Rostock district .

As of 2016, the company had around 100 employees and 14 emergency vehicles.

Emergency medical helicopter

The emergency doctor helicopter (NEH) operated by the company was unique in Germany for many years (nickname "Rescue 029-01-82-01" or "Heli Kessin", formerly also "Rescue Doberan 64-82-1" ). Flight operations will at Heli-Flight GmbH & Co. KG, Reichelsheim with a helicopter type Robinson R44 performed Raven. Heli-Flight also provides the pilots for use. He has been used by Millich since 1995 in the relatively sparsely populated Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as a "flying emergency doctor feeder". The helicopter is equipped and manned like a conventional, land-based emergency vehicle (emergency doctor and paramedic or paramedic). There is also a pilot. In contrast to a rescue helicopter , a patient transport cannot be carried out with the Robinson R44 machine used.

It was not until 2011 that a second NEH was put into service with the "KUNO-SH-01" stationed at Hartenholm Airport. However, this only completed a trial run of several months and then had to be shut down due to financing problems. As of May 2020, Ambulanz Millich is once again the only NEH in Germany.
