Amel Ćosić (born November 19, 1989 in Zavidovići , Yugoslavia ) is a Luxembourg football player .

Career

society

Ćosić's home club is FC Wiltz 71 . There he made the jump to the first team in the summer of 2006 at the age of 17. For the 2017/18 season he then moved on to FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach . With the Blue Boys, he made it to the BGL Ligue in 2019 , in which he played a key role with 12 goals this season. In summer 2020 he signed a contract with the fourth division Green Boys Harlingen / Tarchamps .

National team

In February 2010 he was nominated for the first time for the U-21s of the Luxembourg Football Association and made his debut on March 2, 2010 in the qualifier for the U-21 European Football Championship 2011 against Bosnia-Herzegovina (0: 1).

On June 4, 2010 he came on as a substitute for Joël Kitenge in the friendly game of the Luxembourg national A soccer team against the Faroe Islands (0-0) in the 77th minute .
