America's Most Wanted (Wrestling)
America's Most Wanted ( AMW ) is a former tag team from the US wrestling scene. It consisted of Chris Harris and James Storm and competed for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling . Gail Kim later joined the tag team as a manager. America's Most Wanted was the most successful TNA Wrestling tag team to date with six titles.
history
First , Harris and Storm feuded in independent leagues before they formed a tag team on June 26, 2002 at TNA. On September 18, they won the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championship in a 20-man Gaunlet for the Gold match . Subsequently, AMW feuded against the Stable Disciples of The New Church (Slash and Brian Lee). On November 13th, they had to hand over the titles to them, and on January 8th, 2003 they were allowed to win them back from them. Two weeks later they had to lose the title again, this time to Triple X (Elix Skipper and Low Ki ). On June 25, AMW won the title for the third time in a cage match against Triple X. After that, the two began to feud against Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger, to whom they lost the title in August.
In early 2004, AMW had feud programs against Red Shirt Security (Kevin Northcutt and Legend) and New York Connection (Glen Gilberti) and David Young. On June 4th they won the NWA World Tag Team Championship for the fourth time in a match against Kid Kash and Dallas. On July 7th they had to surrender the titles to The Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas). AMW then began a feud with the Naturals and Triple X . Her last reign as Tag Team Champions began on March 29, 2006 and ended after 24 weeks on June 18.
On December 14, 2006, AMW faced the reigning Tag Team Champions Latin American Exchange ( Homicide and Hernandez) in a Title vs. Team match . Since they had to lose this match, the team broke up.
