Nelson Rodriquez Erazo (born March 20, 1977 in Brooklyn , New York ), better known as Homicide , is an American wrestler .

Career

He was one of the best in baseball and football in high school but turned down the offered Miami scholarship to stay in New York . Always interested in wrestling, he decided to become a wrestler in 1993 and began to train himself. After he had already got into the ring "untrained" for a good three years, Manny Fernandez noticed him and continued to train him in his school. His first gimmick was "The Latin Terror", but he didn't like it anymore in 1995, and because he used to be a member of a gang, he came up with his "gangster" gimmick that he still uses today. Today Homicide trains young wrestlers himself, his most famous students are Monsta Mack (from Hit Squad) and Senshi .

Ring of Honor (2002-2008; 2010-2011)

On February 23, 2002, Homicide made his debut for Ring of Honor on their very first show.

During his time as Tag Team Champion at TNA, he defeated Bryan Danielson in Final Battle on December 23, 2006 and became ROH World Champion for the first time . However, Homicide lost the title on February 17, 2007 again to Takeshi Morishima. Since Ring of Honor also produced Pay-Per-Views from mid-2007 and thus became a competitor for TNA, TNA Erazo was forbidden to continue appearing on Ring of Honor. In 2008, Homicide appeared again with Hernandez for two days on ROH.

On September 11, 2010 he made his comeback at Ring of Honor. He led feuds against the then World Champion Roderick Strong and against the group Embassy . He played his last match on June 26, 2011 against Rhino .

Total Nonstop Action (2005-2010)

At the end of 2005 there were first rumors that he would appear in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling , an injury initially prevented this appearance before he made his debut at the Silverster Show 2005 in a backstage segment. Homicide teamed up with Konnan and Hernandez for the Latin American eXchange (LAX) at TNA Wrestling on New Year's Eve 2005 and became NWA World Tag Team Champion with Hernandez in a feud against Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles in the summer of 2006 . To the same they lost the title at No Surrender on September 24, 2006. But already at Bound for Glory on October 22 of the same year they won them back. In lockdown on April 15, 2007, LAX lost the Team 3D title . On May 11, 2008 at Sacrifice , they won the TNA World Tag Team Championship for the first and so far only time in a match for the vacant title against Team 3D. At Hard Justice on August 10, 2008, she lost the title to Beer Money Inc . On July 16, 2009 at TNA iMPACT!
