Feast or Fired is a match concept from Impact Wrestling . It is based on the item-on-a-pole match in which a wrestler tries to reach an object that is attached to a pole in the corner of the ring. A special feature of the Feat-or-Fired matches are the four suitcases that the wrestlers fight for. In order to receive this, the wrestler must leave the ring with it.

In each case there are "contracts" with different meanings. One case contains a contract for a match for the Impact World Championship , one for a match for the Impact X Division Championship and one for a match for the Impact World Tag Team Championship with a partner of your choice. The fourth and last suitcase contains a pink envelope in which the wrestler receives the notice of termination. In 2016, the contract for the X Division Championship was changed to a contract for a match for the TNA King of the Mountain Championship .

The respective winners do not reveal their suitcase on the night of the actual match, but in the next Impact! -Output. Before opening the suitcase, you can also decide not to. The suitcase can also be defended in a match.

Similar to the WWE Money-in-the-Bank suitcase, the title matches can be used anywhere and anytime.

  • On December 13th at TNA Impact! defeated Steiner Williams, James and Daniels. After the match, Jim Cornette offered him $ 50,000 for the suitcase, which Steiner refused. Steiner then swapped his suitcase for Williams', but announced a match a week later. In Against All Odds Steiner won both cases from Williams. On April 17, 2008, he issued an open challenge, which Williams accepted. Williams lost, however. Steiner and Williams later worked together, however, and Williams got the X Division suitcase.
  • On December 6th, Christopher defeated Daniels Senshi in a match for his suitcase, which turned out to be a pink envelope, so that Daniels was fired (storyline).
