Robert "Rob" Terry (born December 23, 1980 in Swansea , Wales ), better known by his current ring name Rob Terry , is a Welsh wrestler . He currently appears regularly in TNA and Ohio Valley Wrestling . His greatest achievement so far has been receiving the TNA Global Championship .

Career

Sports background / World Wrestling Entertainment

Before Terry got into wrestling , he was a bodybuilder . In 2007 he signed a development contract with World Wrestling Entertainment . There he was first used in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). In FCW, he initially had the function of the bodyguards of Nic Nemeth . On December 1, 2007, he made his active ring debut alongside Nemeth as Big Rob . From then on, Terry formed a tag team with Nemeth . In August 2008, Terry was fired from the WWE.

TNA

After his release, Terry trained at the Team 3D Wrestling Academy and in February 2009 also appeared at an "Academy" event.

On July 20, 2009, Terry made his official TNA debut as Rob Terry . There he formed the stable British Invasion with Brutus Magnus and Douglas Williams . With these he denied a brief feud program against Beer Money Inc.

27 January 2010 Terry allowed the TNA Global Championship by Eric Young at a house show in Cardiff win. The British Invasion broke up in early 2010 and Terry then faced Magnus and Williams several times. Terry gave the global title to AJ Styles on July 13, 2010 .

In December 2010 Terry joined Stable Immortal , where he served as Ric Flair's bodyguard . After he had to leave the group on 5 May 2011 it formed an alliance with Robbie E . This alliance lasted until February 28, 2013. Since then Terry has been working as a single wrestler again.
