Robert Strauss (born October 1, 1983 in Alpine , New Jersey ), better known by his current ring name Robbie E , is an American wrestler . He is currently performing regularly at TNA . One of his greatest achievements so far was receiving the TNA X Division title .

Career

Beginnings

Strauss began his training with the Independent Wrestling Federation (short IWF), where he made his debut on his 17th birthday, October 1, 2000 as Rob Eckos . At the IWF , Strauss won his first title with Biggie Biggs , the IWF Tag Team title .

Independent / WWE

Strauss subsequently took part in various independent promotions such as B. at Pro Pain Pro Wrestling , World Xtreme Wrestling or New York Wrestling Connection . In 2003 he was engaged three times in the TNA doctorate, which was then part of the NWA . Towards the end of July 2010, Strauss had a tryout match at TNA against Bobby Fish and ultimately got a standard two-year contract. He made his Impact debut on October 12, 2010 against Amazing Red . At TNA , Strauss feuded against Jay Lethal . In the course of this feud, Strauss won the TNA X Division title from Lethal. After 30 days, on November 7, 2010, at Turning Point , Strauss gave the title back to Jay Lethal.

From September 2011 to February 2013 he was in an alliance with Rob Terry . On November 13, 2011 Strauss won the TNA Television Title from Eric Young at Turning Point , but lost it to Devon on March 18, 2012 at Victory Road . After a feud against Terry, Strauss and Jessie Godderz formed The BroMans . On October 20, 2013 at Bound for Glory they both won the TNA World Tag Team Championship .
