The Unión Balompédica Conquense is a Spanish football club from Cuenca in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha . The club was founded in 1946 and plays its home games at the Estadio La Fuensanta , which has space for 3,500 spectators.
history
The club was founded in 1946 and played its first season in the Tercera División , which at that time was still the third Spanish division. UB Conquense was rarely able to achieve top positions and was more often relegated to the regional leagues. For the 1987/88 season one could for the first time rise to the Segunda División B , which was founded in the meantime , but rose again directly. Until the 1997/98 season, the club played again in fourth class, but was then able to rise again to the Segunda División B and hold the class except for the 2006/07 season, where another relegation to the Tercera División took place. The club has been commuting between the Tercera División and Segunda División B since 2012, most recently the club relegated to the Tercera División in 2019.
