Here he suffered his 231st defeat in a row.

In that match, he prevented The Revival from using unfair practices against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable several times . After Roode and Gable finally won the match themselves, Hawkins was attacked by The Revival . His former tag team partner Zack Ryder came to his aid, after which they revived their team. However, they lost their first match together after almost ten years on January 28, 2019 against The Revival .

At Wrestlemania 35 on April 7, 2019, Hawkins and his tag team partner Zack Ryder finally won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship from The Revival . This ended his long streak of a total of 269 defeats in a row. This reign lasted 64 days and ultimately lost the title in a Triple Threat Tag Team match against The Revival Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder. The Usos were also involved in this match . Due to a wave of layoffs, he was released from the WWE on April 15, 2020.
