Ember Moon (born August 31, 1988 in Dallas , Texas ; actually Adrienne Reese ) is an American wrestler . She is currently under contract with WWE and appears on their show SmackDown . Her greatest achievement to date has been receiving the NXT Women's Championship .

Career in wrestling

Beginnings (2007-2010)

Their first matches in wrestling graduated Adrienne Reese in 2007. First they came under the ring name Athena especially in events Promotions Professional Championship Wrestling and Anarchy Championship Wrestling on.

In the latter, she received her first wrestling title on May 29, 2010 with the ACW American Joshi Championship when she was allowed to defeat previous title holder Rachel Summerlyn and Lillie Mae in a triple threat match as part of the storyline . However, she gave the title back to Summerlyn 15 days later, on June 13, 2010.

Various organizations (2010-2015)

On September 11, 2010, Reeses made her debut with Shimmer Women Athletes in SHIMMER Volume 33 , where she suffered a loss to Rachel Summerlyn and Jessica James in a tag team match with Jessie Brooks. In the following time she performed for various organizations. On September 18, 2011 she received the ACW American Joshi Championship for the second time at ACW Evolution Of The Revolution 2 from Jessica James, who now appears as Lady Poison . It held this for 119 days until January 15, 2012.

She held another title with the ACW Televised Championship between January 20 and June 23, 2013. She also won the AIW Women's Championship on March 29, 2014 at Absolute Intense Wrestling . She held this until April 24, 2015 for more than a year and a total of 391 days. Around three months later, on July 10, 2015, she received the title again, only to hand it over to Candice LeRae on September 11, 2015.

WWE (since 2015)

NXT (2015-2018)

A little later she made her debut on 10 October 2015, part of a house show on WWE NXT . There she lost a tag team match against Alexa Bliss and Peyton Royce at the side of Gionna Daddio . First, Reese joined NXT under her real name. It wasn't until June 2016 that she received her new ring name, Ember Moon .

As a result, she competed several times at house shows against Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship , but was not allowed to win the title at that time. At the beginning of 2017 , she then feuded in the TV shows against the title holder and lost another title match on NXT TakeOver: Orlando on April 1, 2017, as well as on NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III on August 19, 2017. Finally, she was allowed after that due to injury and the following ascent Asuka in the title main roster for vacant had been declared on 18 November 2017 NXT Takeover: WarGames win. Here she defeated Kairi Sane, Nikki Cross and Peyton Royce in a fatal four-way match . She gave the title to Shayna Baszler on April 7, 2018 at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans because of her upcoming move to the main roaster.

Two days later she made her debut on Raw , where she and Nia Jax won a tag team match against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James . A week later she also completed her first singles match and won it against James.

On May 7, 2018, Reese qualified for the money-in-the-bank ladder match at the event of the same name on June 17 by beating Ruby Riott and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match on Raw . However, she was not allowed to win this. After that, she only played smaller matches in the Women's Division of Raw, she never moved into the title event.

As part of the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up, Moon switched from Raw to SmackDown on April 16, 2019 . She participated in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on May 19, 2019, but did not win the match. On August 11, 2019, she lost a match for the SmackDown Women's Championship against Bayley at WWE SummerSlam .
