Matúš Paukner (born June 20, 1991 in Nitra ) is a Slovak football player .
Career
Paukner started his career at FC Nitra . He made his debut for Nitra in the Corgoň liga in March 2011 when he came on as a substitute for Matúš Mikuš on the 23rd match day of the 2010/11 season against MFK Dubnica in the 82nd minute .
During the winter break of the 2012/13 season it was awarded to the ŠK Partizán Bardejov . After initially returning to Nitra, it was awarded again in January 2014, this time to the TJ OFC Gabčíkovo .
After the loan ended, he returned to FC Nitra, which had since been relegated to the second division . In his first season in the second-highest Slovak division, Paukner scored 21 goals in 32 games. In the following season he scored 17 goals in 17 games until the winter break.
He then moved to Hungary in January 2016 for the first division side Békéscsaba Előre . After half a year in Hungary he returned to Slovakia for the 2016/17 season, where he joined Spartak Trnava . After he was only used twice in the league, he joined the second division club ŠKF Sereď in the winter break of that season .
For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Austrian regional division SV Horn . At the end of the season he rose to the 2nd division with Horn ; Paukner scored 22 goals in 31 matches in the promotion season. After the 2018/19 season he left Horn and moved to the regional division SC Wiener Neustadt , which was renamed 1. Wiener Neustädter SC in November 2019 . For Wiener Neustadt he made 17 regional league appearances until the end of the season and scored twelve goals.
For the 2020/21 season he switched to league rivals ASK-BSC Bruck / Leitha .
