The Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE (SE = Sportegyesület , "sports club"), short Békéscsaba 1912 Előre or just Békéscsaba Előre , is a Hungarian football club from the small Hungarian town of Békéscsaba . The association was founded in 1912 as Előre Munkás Testedző Egyesület and went through numerous name changes. The club colors are purple and white.
history
1974 Békéscsaba Előre rose for the first time in the top Hungarian league and in 1988 achieved his greatest success with a 3-2 final victory over Kispest-Honvéd FC in the Hungarian cup competition . By the end of the 2004/05 season, the club spent a total of 25 seasons in the first Hungarian league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. In 2008, he was relegated to the NB II , until he was promoted again in 2015. In 2016 the relegation followed.
