On July 19, 2016 at SmackDown , she was reassigned to the Raw squad through the 2016 WWE Draft . At Raw she was able to build another winning streak.

Due to a storyline, she was the partner of WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore , but this "relationship" ended when Amore was suspended from the WWE in January 2018. On January 28, 2018 at the Royal Rumble , Jax took part in the women's first Royal Rumble Match. She intervened as number 22 in the match, eliminating four women before she was kicked out of the match by an alliance of six women, namely Asuka, Brie Bella , Nikki Bella , Bayley, Trish Stratus and Natalya .

After two unsuccessful attempts to defeat the unbeaten Asuka, Jax suddenly became a fan favorite in March after her best friend Alexa Bliss publicly made fun of her appearance and behavior. That rivalry earned her a title match on April 8, 2018 at Wrestlemania 34, where Jax won a title for the first time in her career with the WWE Raw Women's Championship . She lost her title on June 17, 2018 at Money in the Bank to Alexa Bliss after she redeemed her Money in the Bank suitcase during the title match between Jax and Ronda Rousey . At WWE Extreme Rules, Jax redeemed her rematch clause against Bliss in a no-rules match on July 15, 2018, but was unable to regain the title.

At the Royal Rumble 2019 , Jax put herself into the Men's Royal Rumble Match, for which she switched off R-Truth , which should start in the match as 30th.
