Trinity Fatu (* thirtieth November 1987 in Sanford , Florida , USA as Trinity McCray ) is an American professional wrestler , dancer , singer and model . She is currently under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and appears under the ring name Naomi . She is one of the main actresses on the reality show Total Divas . She is the wife of Jonathan Fatu , better known by his ring name Jimmy Uso . Through this marriage she is a member of the famous Anoaʻi wrestling family . Her biggest achievement was receiving the SmackDown Women's Championship twice .

Private life

She was a cheerleader and dancer for the Orlando Magic in the NBA from 2007 to mid-2009 . She was also a backing dancer for rapper Flo Rida . In May 2014, Naomi released a song entitled "Dance All Night" and the accompanying music video was released on WWE's YouTube channel. She is also married to wrestler Jonathan Fatu, better known as Jimmy Uso. In addition to The Miz , Maryse Ouellet , Heath Slater , Bo Dallas , Curtis Axel and Luke Harper , Naomi starred in the 2017 WWE Studios-produced film '' The Marine 5: Battleground ''.

WWE (since 2009)

Florida Championship Wrestling (2009-2010)

In August 2009 she signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment . She made her debut under the ring name Naomi Knight on September 9, 2009 at Florida Championship Wrestling , the former WWE development league. She was used as a lumberjill in the match between Angela and Serena Mancini. On October 29, 2009, she played her first wrestling match. She and Alex Riley lost in a mixed tag team match against AJ Lee and Brett DiBiase. On May 20, 2010 a tournament was started to determine the first FCW Divas Championesse . On June 20, 2010, she defeated Serena in the final and became the first female wrestler to win the FCW Divas Championship . She lost the title to AJ Lee on December 16, 2010. NXT and The Funkadactyls (2010-2014)

She took part in the third season of NXT . Her mentor was Kelly Kelly . She made her debut on the September 7, 2010 episode, winning a dance competition. She competed in various competitions against the other participants. In the final episode on November 30, 2011, she lost to Kaitlyn and finished in second place in the third season of NXT.

On January 9, 2012, Raw , she made her debut on the main roster with Cameron as dancers of Brodus Clay. At SummerSlam on August 20, 2017, she lost the title to Natalya . After losing the title, she only worked smaller singles matches or tag team matches, which she mostly won, but she could no longer secure a title chance after losing the title.

Raw (2019)

As part of the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up, Naomi switched from SmackDown to Raw on April 15, 2019 . She participated in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on May 19, 2019, but did not win the match. She has since paused for reasons unknown.

SmackDown (since 2020)

On January 26, 2020, she returned to the Battle Royal as part of the WWE Royal Rumble PPV, but did not win the match. She was drafted to SmackDown in the course of this.
