Life

Childhood and youth

The two twins with Mexican and Italian roots are six minutes apart. They grew up on a farm in Scottsdale , Arizona with their parents, Jon Garcia and Kathy Colace . They spent their school days together up to the third grade, after which their mother had the two separated so that the two could learn more responsibility. They both graduated from Chaparral High School in 2002. Both played football for Scottsdale. After graduating, they began studying at Grossmont College , where Nicole played for the local football club. However, they broke off their studies and initially worked as a waitress at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles while they were looking for a manager.

Prior to their WWE career, the Bellas appeared on the television show Meet My Folks .

Wrestling career

Before their promotion to the main roster of the WWE, they were trained by Tom Prichard at Florida Championship Wrestling , where they mainly appeared as a tag team . They had their first appearance on September 15, 2007. Their first feud they had against Nattie Neidhart (now known as Natalya) and Krissy Vaine . When Natalya joined WWE, Milena Roucka took her place. Mixed tag team matches were also a specialty of the twins. Her male partners included Kofi Kingston and Robert Anthony . Their last appearance was on September 2, 2008 at a Divas Battle Royal.

Brie made her WWE debut on SmackDown in August 2008 . Her gimmick was that she crawled under the ring during their matches and reappeared with new strength. It was later revealed that she was swapping places with her sister Nikki under the ring to win her matches. Then they performed together as a tag team. In November 2008, the Bella Twins had a relationship with the Colóns ( Carlito and Primo ) as part of a storyline . They had an on-screen relationship with John Morrison and The Miz in 2009, and with Daniel Bryan in early 2009 . In 2011 and 2012, they also competed as individual wrestlers, and each of them won the WWE Divas Championship once .

They left WWE in April 2012 but returned in March 2013. In addition to a feud against The Funkadactyls ( Cameron and Naomi ), they were also active again as individual wrestlers, especially after Nikki Bella was injured. In April 2014 there was a Kayfabe split between the two, in which Brie Bella was fired as part of the storyline and Nikki was punished for it in the month of absence. This heralded a heel-turn from Nikki, who then attacked her sister. The feud between the two lasted until the end of the year.

Brie then supported her sister Nikki as she received the Divas Championship, setting AJ Lee's record for a 301-day reign.

The end of 2015 was overshadowed by Nikki Bella's neck injury, which had to be treated and operated on. On September 21, 2015, however, she appeared at the Slammy Award and received the award as "Diva of the Year". During this time, Brie Bella competed alone or in a tag team with Alicia Fox . In March 2016, however, she announced her departure from all ring activities for a long time. She gave unspecified family reasons for her decision.
