Taylor Michael Rotunda (born May 25, 1990 in Brooksville , Florida ), known under the ring name Bo Dallas , is an American professional wrestler and actor . Dallas comes from an American wrestler family. He is the son of the wrestler Lawrence Michael Rotunda (* 1958), his brother is the wrestler Windham Rotunda , known as Bray Wyatt (* 1987). His sister Mika Rotunda is also active as a wrestler. He is married to the wrestler Sarah Bäckman (* 1991). Dallas is currently under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and is currently appearing on their show SmackDown .

His greatest successes to date have been receiving the NXT Championship and WWE Raw Tag Team Championship .

Private life

Rotunda attended Hernando High School in Florida, where he graduated in 2008. During the last two years of high school he began qualifying for the Florida State Wrestling Championships . During this time he also played American football as a linebacker and was offered a scholarship to Webber International University in Babson Park . In the end he decided to go to wrestling, where he continued to train and take part in further qualifications.

WWE (since 2008)

Florida Championship Wrestling (2008-2012)

At Florida Championship Wrestling he formed a tag team with his brother Duke Rotundo under the ring name Bo Rotundo . In the August 23, 2009 edition of FCW, which was recorded on July 23, 2009, they defeated Justin Angel and Kris Logan to win the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship for the first time . They lost the title on November 19, 2009 to The Dude Busters (Caylen Croft, Curt Hawkins & Trent Beretta). On February 3, 2011, he won the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship for the first time when he defeated Mason Ryan . He lost the title to Lucky Cannon on the same day. He took the title back on May 19, 2011, but had to give it up on September 1, 2011 due to an injury. After his injury break, he formed a tag team again with his brother, who now appeared under the ring name Husky Harris. On February 2, 2012, they defeated Brad Maddox and Eli Cottonwood and won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship for the second time . They lost the title on March 15, 2012 to Corey Graves and Jake Carter. On June 16, 2012, he won the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship for the third time under his new ring name Bo Dallas when he defeated Rick Victor. He lost the title to Rick Victor on July 13, 2012.

NXT (2012-2014)

After Florida Championship Wrestling was closed, he appeared from then on for the new WWE development league , NXT . He made his debut for NXT on the first edition of NXT on June 20, 2012, which was taped on May 17, 2012. In that edition he defeated Rick Victor. On January 21, 2013 he took part in the Royal Rumble with starting number 16 . There he eliminated the then Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett . In the June 12, 2013 NXT edition, which was recorded on May 23, 2013, he defeated Big E. Langston and took the NXT Championship . On February 27, 2014 at WWE NXT ArRIVAL he played against Adrian Neville in the first ladder match in NXT history. There he lost his NXT Championship to Adrian Neville.

Main Roster Debut and The B-Team (since 2014)

He made his debut on the WWE Main Roster on the April 7, 2014 Raw edition. He played his first match on the main roster on May 23, 2014 at SmackDown . There he defeated Sin Cara. This was followed by feuds against the Los Matadores, Jack Swagger and Mark Henry . From January 4, 2016 to July 11, 2016, he formed the stable The Social Outcasts with Adam Rose, Curtis Axel and Heath Slater . With Adam Rose's sacking and the 2016 draft , when Heath Slater wasn't drafted to Raw, the stable broke up. In the said draft, Dallas was sent to Raw himself.

On June 19, 2017 he formed the tag team The Miztourage together with Curtis Axel , led by The Miz , who founded this stable . After separating from Miz, the B-Team was formed consisting of Dallas and Curtis Axel after which they got a great momentum from the WWE Universe, which eventually led to Dallas and Axel winning the Raw Tag Team Championship from The Deleters of Worlds Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt won. This reign lasted only 50 days and then lost the title on September 3, 2018 against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre . After losing the tag team title, they were only used for insignificant matches, some of which you could win.

As part of the 2019 Superstar Shake-up, Dallas and his tag team partner Axel switched from Raw to SmackDown on April 26, 2019 . On September 3, 2019, Dallas won the WWE 24/7 Championship from Drake Maverick, which he lost again that same night.
