The Usos are an American tag team of Samoan origin, consisting of the twins Jonathan Solofa Fatu and Joshua Samuel Fatu (born August 22, 1985 in San Francisco , USA ), better known by their ring names Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Solofa Fatu) and Jey Uso (Joshua Samuel Fatu). Private life

The Usos are members of the famous Anoaʻi wrestling family . They are the sons of Solofa Fatu , better known by his ring name Rikishi , the cousins ​​of Samula Anoaʻi Rosey , Joe Anoaʻi , better known by his ring name Roman Reigns and the now deceased wrestling legend Rodney Anoaʻi , who was known by his ring name Yokozuna . Florida Championship Wrestling (2009-2010)

The brothers first appeared in Florida Championship Wrestling , the then WWE development league. Her ring name Uso means brother in Samoan. Jimmy Uso became the first of the brothers to make his debut in WWE. He faced Donny Marlow at the FCW edition on September 20, 2009 against Jamie Noble and Wes Briscoe in a dark match, which they lost. In the main roster, the ring name was changed from Jules Uso to Jey Uso. They made their debut on the main roster on May 24, 2010, when they attacked the WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty ( Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith ) and their valet Natalya with their valet, whose ring name was changed to Tamina . After The Miz and Damien Mizdow won the WWE Tag Team Championship, they began a feud against the Usos. Jimmy Uso's wife Naomi acted as the valet for the Usos. In the December 29, 2014 edition of Raw, the Usos defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow to win the WWE Tag Team Championship for the second time. They lost the title on February 22, 2015 at the PPV WWE Fastlane to Cesaro and Tyson Kidd .

After the PPV WrestleMania 32 the Usos feuded together with Roman Reigns against The Club ( AJ Styles , Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows ). On May 22, 2016, they lost at the PPV WWE Extreme Rules against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

SmackDown and SmackDown Tag Team Champions (2016-2019)

At the WWE Draft 2016 , the Usos were drafted after SmackDown . They took part in the tournament for the newly introduced WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship . In the semifinals they were eliminated by American Alpha ( Chad Gable and Jason Jordan ). After the defeat, they did a heel turn and attacked American Alpha. They injured Chad Gable, so American Alpha could not compete in the final. At Backlash there was a match between the Usos and the Hype Bros (Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder ), who were also eliminated in the semifinals, to determine the new finalists. In the final they lost to Heath Slater and Rhyno .

On March 21, 2017, they defeated American Alpha at SmackDown, winning the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship . On July 23, 2017, they lost their Battleground titles to The New Day . At SummerSlam on August 20, 2017, they defeated The New Day to win the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship for the second time.

The third reign lasted 182 days and then lost the titles to The Bludgeon Brothers Harper and Rowan on April 8, 2019 at WrestleMania 34 .

On February 17, 2019, The Usos secured the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship for the fourth time and defeated the previous titleholders The Miz & Shane McMahon . However, after 51 days of reign, they lost the title to The Hardy Boyz on SmackDown on April 9, 2019 .

Raw (since 2019)

As part of the Superstar Shake-Up 2019, The Usos switched from SmackDown to Raw on April 15, 2019 . On May 7, 2019, the Usos played another match for the vacant WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship against Daniel Bryan & Rowan , which they lost. They got this match despite being a member of the raw rooster, thanks to Vince McMahon's newly introduced wild card rule . The Usos played another match against the SmackDown Tag Team Champions on May 19, 2019 at WWE Money in the Bank , and they won this match. On June 7, 2019, The Usos played a tag team match against The Revival Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder at WWE Super ShowDown, which they won. On the June 10th edition of Raw, they competed in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match against The Revival Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder and then champions Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder for his Raw Tag Team Championship , but they could not do this match win. On July 14, 2019, they played a match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship against The Revival Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, but they lost that match. On July 29, 2019 they played another match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship against The Revival Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder and The OC Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson , which they lost again.
