Oleh Aleksandrowytsch Prudyus ( Ukrainian Олег Олександрович Прудіус , Russian Олег Александрович Прудиус / Oleg Alexandrovich Prudius ; born April 27, 1979 in today's Ukraine , Vladimir is a Ukrainian ring, better known as the Ukrainian SSRlov American , Vladimir is a Ukrainian ring in today's Ukraine , then Ukrainian SSRlov , is a Ukrainian ring better known under the Ukrainian SSRlov . He used to be a freestyle wrestler , rugby player , American football player (including in the Ukrainian national team), kickboxer , judoka , sambo and mixed martial arts fighter.

Wrestling career

WWE

Via the promoter Jerry Jarrett , Prudyus got a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. On January 17, 2006, WWE announced that Prudyus still needed training and sent him to their training league, Deep South Wrestling . On April 7, 2006 Prudyus had his first appearance there against Tommy Suede.

On May 5, 2006 Prudyus played his first match at WWE (a dark match ) in an arena in San Jose, California, where he was allowed to defeat Rob Conway. On the next show, a day later, Matt Striker cursed Prudyus in a promo as a "filthy immigrant," causing Prudyus' storyline attack on him. As a result, however, Prudyus was initially removed from the TV program for further training.

On December 18, 2006, Prudyus made his first appearance as Vladimir Kozlov in an issue of RAW . Over the next few weeks, Kozlov was interviewed in WWE shows several times in order to introduce him to the public. After that he was not seen on television for over a year, but he took part in another series of so-called dark matches .

Ohio Valley Wrestling (2007-2008)

He was sent back to Ohio Valley Wrestling for further training and he received the OVW Heavyweight Championship from Paul Burchill on July 28, 2007, but he had to give it back to Mike Kruel that same night, according to the storyline.

SmackDown! (2008-2009)

On April 4, 2008, Prudyus made his official WWE debut as Vladimir Kozlov, defeating Matt Bentley. Since then, the character Kozlov has been built up with squash matches . From September he was included in the WWE Champion title . At the beginning of 2009, however, its funding increasingly flattened.

ECW (2009-2010)

Through the so-called "Draft Lottery" 2009 Prudyus was assigned to the ECW squad. He made his debut at ECW on April 21, 2009. Prudyus feuded with William Regal and Ezekiel Jackson against Christian , Tommy Dreamer , Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust .

RAW (2010-2011)

With the end of ECW , Prudyus switched to the Monday show RAW . At RAW, Prudyus reconciled with William Regal , but only for a short time. Subsequently, he feuded with Santino Marella against Regal. On December 6, 2010, he and Marella won the WWE Tag Team title from Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel ( The Nexus ). On February 20, 2011, at the major Elimination Chamber event , they lost the title again to Slater and Gabriel. He served as the pro for Conor O'Brian on season 5 of WWE NXT . Prudyu's release was announced on Friday, August 5, 2011. Since then he can be seen in the independent scene under the name Alexander Kozlov .
