Ignacio Monsalve Vicente (born April 27, 1994 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

Monsalve joined the Atlético Madrid academy in 2006 . In 2013 he played for the third team in the Tercera División for the first time . He made his debut for Atlético Madrid B in August 2014 .

In December 2014 he was part of the Atlético professional squad for the first time. He made his debut for Madrid in April 2016 in the Primera División against Betis Sevilla , when he was in the starting XI.

In July 2016 he moved to Deportivo La Coruña B , the second team of Deportivo La Coruña , in the Tercera División. In April 2017, he was against CA Osasuna for the first time in the club's professional squad, but was not used

In August 2017 he moved to Rayo Vallecano and was awarded directly to the third division club Recreativo Huelva . For Huelva, he played 17 games in Segunda División B in the 2017/18 season.

In August 2018, Monsalve moved to the Netherlands for second division club FC Twente Enschede .
