Gianluca Nijholt (born February 14, 1990 in Utrecht ) is a Dutch football player . The offensive player has been part of the professional squad of the Dutch first division club NAC Breda since summer 2016 .
Career
In the 2007/08 season Nijholt was appointed to the professional squad of FC Utrecht for the first time . The young player came to his debut on December 16, 2007 by chance. In the 3-1 win against Heracles Almelo , his team-mate Giuseppe Rossini was supposed to come on in the 87th minute . But since he had forgotten his jersey in the cabin, Nijholt was substituted on for the Belgian Tom Caluwé . The attacker wore the number 27 on his debut game in the Eredivisie .

Gianluca Nijholt is the son of the ex-professional and today's soccer coach Luc Nijholt .
