Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr (born April 5, 1986 in Charlotte , North Carolina , USA ) better known under her ring name Charlotte Flair , is an American wrestler who is under contract with the WWE and regularly appears on their show Raw . She is the daughter of two-time Hall of Famers Ric Flair . Fliehr held the highest women's title in the WWE ten times and is the record holder for the most title wins.
Private life
She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Richard Morgan Fliehr, better known as Ric Flair and Elizabeth Fliehr. She has an older half-sister named Megan and an older half-brother named David, who is also a wrestler. While her younger brother Reid, who was also a wrestler, died. She was the captain of the Providence High School, North Carolina volleyball team . With the volleyball team she won two NCHSAA 4 A state championships. She was player of the year 2004-2005. She attended Appalachian State University before moving to North Carolina State University . There she did her Bachelor in Public Relations in 2008 .
She was married to wrestler Thomas Latimer , better known by his ring name Bram . She filed for divorce in August 2015. The divorce was finalized on October 29, 2016. Since the beginning of 2019, she has been in a relationship with her ring colleague Andrade . In January 2020, the couple announced their engagement.

The BFFs and NXT Women's Champion (2012-2015)
On May 17, 2012, she signed a contract with WWE . She took the ring name Charlotte and made her first appearance on July 17, 2013, where she defeated Bayley in a fight. In the beginning, she teamed up with Bayley and feuded with her against Sasha Banks and Summer Rae. On the NXT episode on November 13, 2013, she turned against Bayley and joined Sasha Banks and Summer Rae. After Paige had to give up her NXT Women's Championship because she won the Divas Championship , a tournament was held for the vacant title. In the first round she eliminated Emma, in the semifinals she defeated Alexa Bliss . The final took place on May 29, 2014 at NXT TakeOver . In the final, she defeated Natalya to win the vacant NXT Women's Championship . On September 11, 2014, she successfully defended her title on NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way against Bayley. She and Bayley feuded against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks for a while. At NXT TakeOver: R Evolution on December 11, 2014, she successfully defended her title against Sasha Banks. On February 11, 2015 on NXT TakeOver: Rival , she lost her title to Sasha Banks in a Fatal Four Way Match that also featured Becky Lynch and Bayley. At the following NXT edition she lost her rematch.
Women's Revolution and last Divas Champion (2015-2016)
On July 13, 2015 she made her debut on the main roster together with Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Together with Paige and Becky Lynch she formed the stable team PCB . Team PCB feuded against Team BAD ( Naomi , Tamina and Sasha Banks) and Team Bella ( Nikki Bella , Brie Bella , Alicia Fox ). At WWE Battleground 2015 , she defeated Brie Bella and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match . At SummerSlam 2015, Team PCB won against Team BAD and Team Bella .
On the August 31, 2015 Raw edition, she won a Beat the Clock challenge and got a chance at the WWE Divas Championship . At WWE Night of Champions , she beat Nikki Bella and won the WWE Divas Championship . At Hell in a Cell , she successfully defended her title against Nikki Bella. On the raw edition of Hell in a Cell , Team PCB lost to Team Bella . After the defeat, she and Becky Lynch were attacked by Paige, so Team PCB was disbanded. On November 23, 2015 at the Survivor Series , she successfully defended her title against Paige. Paige was able to secure another chance for the title in the following weeks. On December 14, 2015 at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs , she successfully defended her title again against Paige after her father Ric Flair intervened in the match. After that, she started a feud against her best friend Becky Lynch. During the feud, she did gymnastics against her best friend and attacked Becky Lynch. At the Royal Rumble on January 24th, 2016, she successfully defended her title against Becky Lynch.
Raw Women's Champion (2016-2017)
At Wrestlemania 32 , it was announced that a new WWE Women's Championship introduced and the WWE Divas Championship is set. On April 3, 2016 at Wrestlemania 32 , she defeated Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match and was crowned the first WWE Women's Champion. She lost her title to Sasha Banks on the July 25th 2016 edition of Raw, but won it back again on August 21st at SummerSlam . On October 3, 2016 on Raw, she lost her title again to Sasha Banks. On October 30, 2016, at PPV Hell in a Cell , she and Sasha Banks became the first women to contest a Hell In A Cell match , this match being the main event of the PPV. This was the first time in WWE history that two women formed the main fight of a WWE PPV. In that match, she won the Raw Women's Championship for the third time . She had to give this title back to them in the November 28, 2016 Raw edition in a Falls Count Anywhere match against Sasha Banks. On December 18, 2016 at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line defeated Sasha Banks to regain the title. On February 13, 2017 on Raw, she lost the title to Bayley.
SmackDown Women's Champion and feud against Lynch (2017-2019)
On April 11, 2017, she switched to SmackDown Live through the superstar shake-up at the SmackDown edition on November 14, 2017, she won the SmackDown Women's Championship from Natalya . Flair is the first and only female wrestler to hold the NXT Women's Championship , WWE Divas Championship , Raw Women's Championship and the SmackDown Women's Championship . However, she lost this after 147 days of reign to Carmella who redeemed her Money in the Bank Contract. In a rematch at WWE SummerSlam on August 19, 2018, she won a Triple Threat Match in which Becky Lynch was involved and thus secured the SmackDown Women's Championship for the second time . But already after 28 days of reign she lost her title to Becky Lynch at Hell In A Cell on September 16, 2018. On December 16, 2018, Charlotte was involved again in a title match at Tables, Ladders & Chairs , this was a triple threat match Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match in which the then champion Becky Lynch and Asuka were also involved, the match and the title won Asuka . Flair won the third SmackDown Women's Championship on March 26, 2019 at a SmackDown edition, for which she defeated the then champion Asuka . However, the title she lost as early as 12 days later at WrestleMania 35 to Becky Lynch this was a Triple Threat Winner Take All Match , which also the Raw Women's Championship from Ronda Rousey was at stake. On May 19, 2019, Flair won her fourth WWE SmackDown Women's Championship by defeating Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank , but held the reign just minutes after Bayley successfully redeemed her Money in the Bank Contract, which she won that evening . On August 11, 2019, she won a singles match against Trish Stratus at WWE SummerSlam . On October 6, 2019, she won Bayley 's SmackDown Women's Championship . The reign lasted five days and lost the title to Bayley on Friday Night SmackDown on October 11, 2019 .
Return to Raw (since 2019)
As part of the WWE Draft, Flair switched from SmackDown to Raw on October 14, 2019 . On November 24, 2019, she played a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Sasha Banks , Carmella , Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans , Nikki Cross , Rhea Ripley, Io Shirai, Bianca at WWE Survivor Series together with Asuka , Natalya , Kairi Sane and Sarah Logan Belair , Toni Storm and Candice LeRae. She lost that match. On January 26, 2020, she won the Women's Royal Rumble Match at WWE Royal Rumble , numbered 17. On April 5, 2020, she won the NXT Women's Championship from Rhea Ripley for the second time at WrestleMania 36. This reign lasted 63 days and lost won the title on June 7, 2020 against Io Shirai. On June 22, 2020, it was written off the shows due to an injury.
