Arndt signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in August 2012 , where he started out with the ring name Eric Anthony. In November 2012 he was renamed Enzo Amore.

He played his first wrestling match on October 25, 2012 when he lost in a Six Man Tag Team match alongside Judas Devlin and Lincoln Broderick against Baron Corbin , Dante Dash and Memo Montenegro. He made his official debut on the NXT edition on May 22, 2013 when he was quickly defeated by Mason Ryan . He teamed up with Colin Cassady , who also lost to Mason Ryan, to feud against him. After the feud ended, the two became officially a tag team.

In November 2013, Arndt broke his leg and was injured. On June 26, 2014 Arndt returned and formed a tag team with Colin Cassady again. After his return, the two feuded against Sylvester Lefort and Marcus Louis. The feud came to a head when Sylvester Lefort and Marcus Louis shaved off part of his beard. The feud ended on NXT: TakeOver Fatal 4-Way when Arndt Sylvester Lefort in a Hair vs. Hair Match defeated. In March 2015, Carmela made her debut on NXT, becoming the valet of Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore. The three committed a feud against NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy and their valet Alexa Bliss for the NXT Tag Team Championship . However, they couldn't win the title. In March 2016 they vied again for the NXT Tag Team Championship against The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson). Again they couldn't get the title. They played their last match at NXT in the NXT edition on April 2, 2016, when they lost to American Alpha ( Chad Gable and Jason Jordan ).

On April 4, 2016, Arndt and Colin Cassady made his debut on the main roster of the Raw edition after Wrestlemania when they confronted the Dudley Boyz in a promo . He played his first match on the main roster alongside Colin Cassady in the Smackdown edition on April 14, 2016, when they were in the first round of the tournament to determine the new challenger to the WWE Tag Team Championship , The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). The final of the tournament took place on May 1st, 2016 at WWE Payback . They contested the final against the Vaudevilians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch). The match ended in a no contest, as the match had to be abandoned after Arndt suffered a concussion during the match. Due to the concussion he suffered, Arndt was injured.

On the May 23rd, 2016 edition of Raw, Arndt returned. On the May 30th edition of Raw, he played alongside his tag team partner, whose ring name was changed from Colin Cassady to Big Cass during Arndt's break, his first match against the Dudley Boyz after his injury break with Big Cass could win.

He has been performing alone since June 2017, as the storyline includes a feud with Big Cass, his former partner.
