Wrestling career

Independent Leagues (2004-2012)

Benjamin Satterley played his first wrestling match on March 27, 2004 under the ring name Pac for the Independent Wrestling Federation (IWF). He then performed several times for this and other independent European promotions (including Main Event Wrestling and 3 Count Wrestling). His first title, the IWF Tag Team Championship , Satterley received on August 26, 2005 together with Harry Pain.

In the first few years of his career he almost exclusively competed in wrestling promotions in Europe. So also for the German organization Westside Xtreme Wrestling where he who on 9 December 2006 wXw World Lightweight Championship by Tommy End win allowed. He gave this to Dragon Kid in early July 2007. He was able to regain the title from this for almost two months. On June 1, 2008, the title was declared vacant , so Satterley was no longer the title holder.

From 2007, Satterley also played more shows in American leagues (including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Ring of Honor ). On May 20, 2007, he and Roderick Strong won the PWG World Tag Team Championship from the team The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe). They gave the title to El Generico and Kevin Steen on July 29th .

Dragon Gate (2007-2012)

From January 2009 he was a PAC at Dragon Gate on the WORLD-1 stable . As a member of this group, Benjamin Satterley won the Open The Triangle Gate Championship three times and the Open The United Gate Championship once . The group was dissolved at the end of 2012. In August 2010, Satterley also won the vacant Open The Brave Gate Championship in a tournament final against Susumu Yokosuka. He gave the title to Ricochet just 15 months later .

WWE (2012-2018)

NXT Debut and NXT Champion (2012-2015)

On October 18, 2012 Satterley debuted at a house show in the WWE and came henceforth under the ring name Adrian Neville at WWE NXT on. From January 2013 he formed the British Ambition tag team with Oliver Gray . On January 31, 2013, the two became the first titleholders of the newly created NXT Tag Team Championship when they defeated Erick Rowan and Luke Harper of the Wyatt Family . In April 2013, Gray was injured, so that Satterley with Bo Dallas as a substitute partner had to give up the NXT Tag Team Championship on May 2nd. On March 21, 2013 Satterley went to NXT for the WWE United States Championship against Antonio Cesaro , but could not win the title.

From June he feuded again - now with Corey Graves as a partner - for the NXT Tag Team Championship , which they won on June 20 from Harper and Rowan. Thus, Satterley became the first to win this title for the second time. In mid-September they lost the title to The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).

At the end of October 2013 Satterley was allowed to win a match against Sami Zayn and was therefore declared the main challenger to the NXT Championship by Bo Dallas. After a lengthy rivalry against them , he won the title on February 27, 2014 in a ladder match at NXT ArRIVAL . On December 11th, he gave it to Zayn at the major NXT event, NXT TakeOver: (R) Evolution .

Main roster debut and WWE Cruiserweight Champion (2015-2017)

On March 30, 2015, Satterley made his debut on Monday Night Raw and thus rose to the main roaster . With the rise, his first name Adrian was deleted from the ring name, so that from now on he only appears as Neville . At the end of April he played the King-of-the-Ring tournament , in which he advanced to the final, which he lost to Bad News Barrett . This was followed by a feud against Barrett, which Satterley won with a win at the major event Payback . However, he lost the rematch a day later on Raw. On June 14th, he took part in the money-in-the-bank ladder match at the major event of the same name, which he was unable to win.

Then he feuded together with the leading actor of the American television series Arrow Stephen Amell against Stardust and Barrett, who they could defeat at SummerSlam . In November 2015, Benjamin Satterley took part in a tournament for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship , in which he was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Kevin Owens .

On January 24, 2016, he took part in the Royal Rumble Match at the pay-per-view of the same name , in which he was eliminated by Luke Harper . On March 14th, Satterley suffered a fractured ankle in a match against Chris Jericho on Raw and was sidelined for several months.

The WWE Draft on July 19, 2016 made Satterley part of Raw . Less than a week later he made his comeback on this show. On October 31, 2016, he injured himself again on Raw. He made his return on December 18, 2016 at Pay-per-View Roadblock: End of the Line when he attacked Rich Swann and TJ Perkins after a match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship . At the following Raw edition, he declared that he would compete in the future cruiserweight division. On January 29, 2017, he defeated Rich Swann at the Royal Rumble , winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship for the first time . He gave it to Akira Tozawa on August 14, 2017 on Raw . In a rematch at SummerSlam six days later, he was allowed to regain the title, only to lose it to Enzo Amore at No Mercy on September 24, 2017 .

Contract dispute and exit (2017-2018)

On October 1, Satterley played his last WWE match at a house show. On October 10, 2017, multiple sources reported that Satterley had asked Raw to terminate his contract the day before . One report said he was unhappy for a while. WWE denied that he left the doctorate. In January 2018, it was reported that WWE had frozen Satterley's contract. On August 24, 2018, it was confirmed that Satterley is no longer under contract.

Return to Dragon Gate (2018-2019)

Six years after leaving PhD, Satterley returned to Dragon Gate on October 2, 2018. Using his previous ring name, PAC, he joined the stable RED. On December 4, 2018, Satterley won the Open The Dream Gate Championship from Masato Yoshino. In his last match for Dragon Gate on July 21, 2019, he lost the title to Ben-K.
