criticism

Since Vickie Guerrero had played no role in the wrestling business before her husband's death and her first regular appearances and storylines in the WWE were related to developments after Eddie Guerrero's death, there was repeated criticism that she exploited his death and used it for her own Profiling. The WWE received very negative reviews for processing Eddie Guerrero's death. The trade magazine Wrestling Observer awarded the promotion the "Award" "Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic", on the website WrestleCrap.com the visitors chose the treatment of Eddie Guerrero's death by WWE and widow for the "2007 Gooker Award" . The Gooker Award is named after a particularly ridiculous wrestling gimmick, a man-sized turkey ("Gobbledy Gooker"), embodied in 1990 by Eddie Guerrero's brother Hector .
