Amie Ndow
Amie Ndow (born March 12, 1958 ) is a former Gambian sprinter .
Life
At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 , she was eliminated over 200 m in the run.
In 1982 she failed at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane over 100 m and 200 m in the first round. In the 4 x 100 meter relay she came in ninth place with the Gambian team.
At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 , she could not qualify for the next round over 100 m as sixth of her preliminary run. She was disqualified in the pre-run over 200 m .
In 1984 she became the Moroccan champion over 100 m and 200 m. At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , she qualified over 200 m in 25.41 s as fifth of her preliminary run for the quarter-finals, in which she was eliminated in 25.24 s as eighth. With the Gambian 4 x 100 meter relay with the line-up of Jabou Jawo , Ndow, Victoria Decka and Georgiana Freeman , she finished sixth and last in the preliminary run in 47.18 s and was eliminated.
