Jabou Jawo
Jabou Jawo (born April 18, 1962 in Bathurst ) is a track and field athlete from the West African state of Gambia who specializes in short distances . She took part in two Olympic Games .
Olympia 1984
Jabou Jawo took part in two competitions at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles :
- In the 100-meter race she was assigned to the third group in the first run. She ran the track in 12.10 seconds and finished seventh, not qualifying for the next lap.
- In the 4 × 100 m relay competition , she ran together with Amie N'Dow , Victoria Decka and Georgiana Freeman . Jawo ran as the first of the season, which was last in the run-up with 47.18 s and thus could not qualify for the final.
Olympia 1988
Jabou Jawo took part in a competition at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul :
- In the 100-meter race she was assigned to the third group in the first run. She ran the track in 12.27 seconds and finished eighth, not qualifying for the next lap.
