Amilia Wallace began playing skeleton in 2006 and has been a member of Australia's national team ever since. She contested her first international race in 2006 in the Skeleton America's Cup . In Calgary , she was 19th. In her third race in Salt Lake City , Wallace was eighth for the first time in the top ten. At the start of the 2007/08 season , she started in Igls in the Skeleton European Cup , where she came in third behind Kathleen Lorenz and Jessica Kilian, making her first podium in the skeleton. At the beginning of 2008, she made her debut in the Skeleton Intercontinental Cup in Park City , where she was ninth in the top ten. The highlight of the season was participation in the Junior World Championships in Igls, where Wallace was 16th. Until the end of 2008, the Australian made further appearances in the America's and Intercontinental Cup, but has not competed since then.
