Ample Rock is a striking cliff rock off the north coast of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located east of Markham Point in Ample Bay , a side bay of the Bay of Isles , and serves as an important point of reference when navigating through the latter bay.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013 based on the name of the bay of the same name.
