Office of Garz
In Office Garz the four communities were Gustow , Karnitz , Poseritz and Zudar and the city Garz / Rügen joined forces to do their administrative business. The office was in the south of the Rügen district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
On January 1, 2004 Karnitz was incorporated into Gartz / Rügen on June 13, 2004 Zudar.
On January 1, 2005, the office was dissolved and merged with the former Bergen-Land office and the formerly free district town of Bergen auf Rügen in the new Bergen auf Rügen office .
