Office Löhnberg

The office Löhnberg was a joint office between Nassau-Oranien and Nassau-Weilburg until 1773 with its seat in Löhnberg . It was subordinate to the Oberamt Weilburg . The office went on in the Weilburg office .

The office consisted of Löhnberg , Odersbach and Waldhausen .

In 1773 there was an exchange of territory (Löhnberg exchange contract) between Nassau-Orange and Nassau-Weilburg. Orange received the places Hüblingen, Neunkirchen and Rückershausen from the Merenberg office . In return, Nassau-Weilburg received the Orange shares in the Löhnberg office.
