The Wankendorf office was an office in the southwest of the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein.

The office had its administrative seat in the municipality of Wankendorf , an area of ​​65 km² and 5700 inhabitants in the municipalities of Belau , Ruhwinkel , Stolpe and Wankendorf.

history

The Wankendorf Office was founded on April 1, 1948 . It emerged from the Prussian districts of Depenau, with the communities of Depenau (today the municipality of Stolpe), Stolpe and Wankendorf, and Perdöl, with the communities of Belau and Ruhwinkel.

Since January 1, 2008, the municipalities of the Wankendorf office and the municipalities of the Bokhorst office have formed the Bokhorst-Wankendorf office .
