The office Witzwort was an office in the district of Eiderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein . It comprised the communities of Uelvesbüll and Witzwort .

In 1889, the district of Witzwort was formed in the Eiderstedt district . In addition to the above-mentioned communities, it also included the community of Norderfriedrichskoog .

In 1948 the district was dissolved. Norderfriedrichskoog together with Oldenswort formed the office of Oldenswort . The other two parishes formed the Witzwort office. With the formation of the district of North Friesland , the office was dissolved in 1970 and the two communities came to the Friedrichstadt office .
