Office for Agricultural Policy

The Office for Agricultural Regulation has been the name of the subordinate authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia since 1970 , which mainly dealt with land consolidation in rural areas.

In Prussia , special commissions were formed at the beginning of the 19th century, which from 1919 were called "cultural offices". In 1958, the cultural offices in North Rhine-Westphalia were renamed "offices for land consolidation and settlement" and since 1970 they have been called "offices for agricultural regulation".

Your main tasks today are in the areas of land consolidation, rural settlement, village renewal and improvement of the agricultural structure .

In Hesse, some of the previous tasks of the cultural offices were transferred to the offices for land management and some to the agricultural offices .
