Tim Siedschlag (born September 26, 1987 in Neumünster ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with Holstein Kiel since 2011 and is primarily used in the central midfield .

Career

Siedschlag began his career in the 2006/07 season in the second team of Holstein Kiel in what was then the Oberliga Nord . The following season he was used in the DFB Cup for the first time in the first team. For Holstein Kiel he first played in the Oberliga Nord, then in the Regionalliga Nord , and later in the 3rd division . After he played for VfB Lübeck (also Regionalliga Nord) after relegation in the 2010/11 season, he returned to Holstein Kiel for the 2011/12 season. With the Kielers, Siedschlag rose again to the 3rd division in 2012/13. In the 2016/17 season he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . The crowd favorite then extended his contract for another year. On the 8th matchday of the 2017/18 season, Siedschlag celebrated his second division debut in the away game against MSV Duisburg , when he came on in the 90th minute when the score was 3-0. It was his only use in the first half of the season. For the second half of the season, coach Markus Anfang changed him to the home games against Union Berlin and Darmstadt 98 in the final minutes. In addition, he was used four times (two goals) in the second team in the fifth-class Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein . In May 2018, the association announced the extension of the contract until 2021. In the 2018/19 season , Siedschlag is exclusively in the squad of the second team, which plays as a promoted player in the fourth-rate Regionalliga Nord .
